Where to Use sealant:Masonary, lightweight and pre-cast concrete, G.R.P, wood, coated surfaces, metals and most other surfaces.
Full Description:Seamsil® silicone joint sealant is a versitile, low modulus silicone sealant ideally suited for use as a colour matched seal in PVC Plastisol coated profile cladding lapped edges.
This ready-to-use neutral curing silicone reacts with moisture from the atmosphere to form a highly elastic rubber seal which also adheres to most common building surfaces.
Seamsil®, is unaffected by weathering conditions such as sunlight, ultra violet radiation, rain, snow and temperature extremes. The excellent weatherabillity and high temparature movement accommodation enables the system to perform after many years of exposure.
Key Performance Properties:Available in a wide range of colours, Seamsil® sealant has excellent primerless adhesion to most building components, high movement accommodation (+ or - 50%), long tooling time, low odour and neutral cure.
Seamsil® sealant is recommended for use with PVC Plastisol coated cladding, polycarbonate, acrylic, uPVC and most other plastics, masonary, painted wood, aluminium, lead and most other materials. It is also Recommended for use as a colour-matched primary and secondary seal in PVC Plastisol coated profile cladding lapped edge.
