Steel roof re-coating to address edge corrosion and delamination

Specification:During refurbishment to their Andover premises, Alphameric Solutions, the leading technology provider to the bookmaking marketplace in the United Kingdom and Ireland discovered that the PVC coated steel roof sheets had clearly reached their “re-paint decision time” succumbing to edge corrosion and age-related delamination.
The busy offices could not be disturbed so after taking advice from steel manufacturer Corus, Project Management team Project Perceptions Ltd. chose to recoat the roof with DELCOTE® which offered negligable site disruption whilst providing complete weather and corrosion resistance for decades to come.
Qualifed applicator Kettles Ltd. first treated the roof with SEAMSIL®, preventing further corrosion to the critical lap joints and other areas of cut edges and fixings followed by DELCOTE® silicone coating, applied to a finish colour of White.
